Cancer Awareness Cancer has stricken nearly every family in one way or another. Our talented amazing teacher Tiffany Shoell, was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a type of aggressive cancer. She had surgery this past month to remove the tumor they found, but she will be receiving chemotherapy for the next year. Tiffany was a big part of the dance community in St. George & especially here with the Super Steppers. Throughout the year we will be honoring her and remembering the many who struggle with this vicious disease, on a daily basis, by paying tribute to them in various events. We hope that you will keep Tiffany & the many cancer patients fighting with her, in your thoughts throughout this challenging time. WELCOME TO THE ST. GEORGE SUPER STEPPER'S WEBSITE! Super Steppers are an internationally acclaimed Junior Dance Team, under the direction of Misty Frisbey and Carolyn Phillips. Super Steppers have performed around the world in places like China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. They have performed at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan and also in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. They have performed at a number of football half time shows and also at NBA halftime shows. Founded in 1980, by Ilene Hacker, Super Steppers have enjoyed performing all around the world, and serving the community as official Goodwill Ambassadors to the State of Utah. The dancers, grades k-9th; (in addition to being great performers) are great students and are involved with serving others in the community, nation and worldwide! The dancers are excited for to be in their 30th year, and will be performing at more fun places this 2009-2010 season. These will include the Breast Cancer Awareness Bowl, Disneyland, Universal Studios and more.
